Welcome to the LSRJ Chapters Resource Page

This page is your guide to creating a new LSRJ Chapter web page. Creating a new LSRJ Chapter web page is fun and easy! Just follow the steps below and your new page will be up in no time. You can also download the instructions to make following along easier. Let’s get started!

Creating a New Chapter Web Page

Step 1

Locate the Create or Find Page box (in the left column of this page) and enter your law school chapter name as you want it to appear on your new page. For example, you would enter something like Your Law School LSRJ.

Once you have entered your chapter name, click Go.

Step 2

You will be taken to a new page with the chapter name you entered at the top. To the right of the chapter name are three links called View, Edit, and History.

Click the Edit link to create your page.

Step 3

This will take you into the edit mode for your new chapter page, where you will enter new content. For now, you can enter the header for your page by typing the following into the text box:

h1. Your Law School LSRJ

You are free to use similar variations for the text of your header, such as Your Law School LSRJ Chapter, or Law Students for Reproductive Justice at Your Law School.

When you are done, click Submit.

Step 4

You should now see your page with the header you just created. Next, you will need to rename your page. We won’t actually be changing the name you entered in step 1—instead, this step is for organizational purposes within the wiki site, to ensure that your page is easy to find later on.

To rename your page, first click the Edit link to enter the page edit mode, then locate the Rename box towards the bottom of the edit page and enter the following:

Category:LSRJ Chapters::Your Chapter Name Goes Here

To make this step easier you can copy the above text from here and paste it into your page, just remember to replace “Your Chapter Name Goes Here” with the chapter name you chose in step 1.

When you are done, click Submit.

Step 5

Congratulations! Your page is now ready for you to start adding content. You can click on the Edit link at any time to add more content or edit existing content on your page, and click Submit to save and view the changes.
