LSRJ at Northeastern School of Law
The Mission of LSRJ at Northeastern
This chapter of the national non-profit organization, Law Students for Reproductive Justice, seeks to provide a space for dialogue, organization, and general engagement around Reproductive Justice issues not only as “women’s issues” but also within the broader context of Social Justice and Human Rights. We are dedicated to the exploration and integration of various legal disciplines including but not limited to Constitutional Law, Family Law, Tort Law, Health Law, Immigration Law, International Law, Women’s Rights Law, and LGBT Law through the lens of Reproductive Justice. Our mission parallels that of the national organization, which is dedicated to “ensuring that a new generation of [legal] advocates will be prepared to protect and expand reproductive rights as basic civil and human rights.”

Past Events
Operation Panty Drive: Delivering Dignity to Women in Detention
Info: Weeks of April 13 & 20
Issue: Female detainees receive a very limited supply of undergarments causing a multitude of issues. In an effort to raise money for the purchase of undergarments for these women, LSRJ Northeastern has teamed up with other student organizations for a full two weeks of advocacy and events surrounding this problem. 100% of the proceeds raised will go straight to buying undergarments for the female detainees.
